This policy covers every app published by devdevgoat. Respect for your privacy is one of our 3 rules, so the short version is short: we do not track you, and we do not collect your data. Our apps have no accounts, no ads, and no analytics. Each app's details are below.
What our apps do not do
- Ask for your name, email address, or an account
- Track you across apps or websites
- Show advertising, or use advertising or analytics tools
- Share or sell information to anyone
Purchases
Apple handles all payments. We never see your payment details. Apple gives the app a signed record of your purchase, and an app may send that record to our server to confirm your subscription. To manage or cancel a subscription, open the Settings app, tap your name, and then tap Subscriptions.
Folly Surf
Sent to our server: the ID of the surf spot that you picked (such as "folly-beach-sc"), and the Apple-signed record of your subscription, if you have one. The server uses them only to answer the request. It does not save them and does not link them to you.
Stored on your device: your saved spots and the last forecasts, so the widget can show them. Delete the app to remove them.
Not used: your location, contacts, photos, or any other personal data.
Forecast data: wave and wind forecasts come from Open-Meteo (CC BY 4.0), and tide predictions come from NOAA Tides & Currents. Our server downloads this data on a schedule. Your requests are not sent to these services.
This website
This website does not use cookies, analytics, or tracking. Cloudflare hosts it and may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses, for security. See the Cloudflare privacy policy.
Children
Our apps do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
